Webinar: When Parents Need Care, A Conversation on Dementia for Family Caregivers

  • Zoom (Registration Required) (map)

Across the country, Korean Americans are quietly navigating one of the most difficult journeys: caring for aging parents living with dementia.

We are proud to launch AGING CARE TOGETHER (ACT)—a national coalition of nonprofit organizations working collaboratively to strengthen support for Korean American family caregivers.

As part of its launch, ACT is hosting a free virtual webinar:
When Parents Need Care: A Conversation on Dementia for Family Caregivers [VIRTUAL]

Are you caring for a parent living with dementia while balancing work, family, and cultural expectations?

Join ACT’s first webinar, designed to create a supportive space for Korean American caregivers—especially those in the sandwich generation—to access:

  • information on caregiver resources and planning

  • a live Q&A with community experts

  • details about follow-up sessions

The webinar will be conducted in English. Featured speakers and additional program details to follow.

ABOUT 'AGING CARE TOGETHER'

Incubated by the Korean American Community Foundation (KACF), Aging Care Together (ACT) brings together four nonprofit organizations with decades of experience supporting older adults and families through bilingual, culturally informed, and community-rooted care.

Together, they are developing practical caregiving tools, building a trusted national referral network, strengthening nonprofit connections across regions, and gathering data to better understand and respond to community needs.
