What to Expect: In this immersive 2.5-hour session, you will learn from the expert Korean American Storyteller Judy Kim from Mandoo Club and BOJAGI. We will explore the history and cultural significance of two beautiful Korean traditions:
The Art of Mandoo (Make, Cook & Eat): "Good Luck" Mandoo: Learn to prep, fill, and fold traditional Korean dumplings. We will then cook them on-site and eat together, connecting with the community over a delicious, lucky meal.
The Art of Bojagi Wrap with Intention: Master the art of Bojagi (cloth wrapping) using a vibrant Saekdong (rainbow) cloth.After our meal, discover the elegance of sustainable Korean wrapping. You will learn how to artfully wrap your remaining treats using a traditional Saekdong (rainbow-striped) Bojagi cloth.
