Ha Chong-Hyun: Retrospective marks the first museum survey in North America of one of the forefathers of Korean contemporary art. Organized by guest curator Sunjung Kim, Artistic Director of Art Sonje Center, the exhibition traces more than six decades of Ha's practice—from his early gestural and geometric abstractions and experimental works as a founding member of the Korean Avant-Garde Association (AG) to his iconic Conjunction paintings—bringing these bodies of work together on an unprecedented scale.
