The Hana Gala is the flagship event of the Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco (KACF-SF), held annually to celebrate the local Korean community, gather Korean philanthropists, and fundraise to support the most critical needs of Koreans. It is the largest event of its kind on the West Coast.

Sean is Co-Chair of Quinn Emanuel’s National Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.  Sean is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in litigating patents, trade secrets, copyrights and other intellectual property in “bet the company” cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.  As noted in Chambers USA 2019, “he has all of the trial skills you’d hope for, an unusually deep technical background and is one of the best at jumping into the subject matter and coming up with creative solutions.” In 2022, Sean’s work as lead counsel in the KeyMe trial was featured as one of two cases by Law360 in recognizing the firm with its “Trials Group of the Year” award.

Sean received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and B.S. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, and has engineering experience at Intel Corporation and the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Daniel Dae Kim has made a career of creating multifaceted and stereotype-breaking roles as an actor, director and now, producer. Prior to his seven-season portrayal of Chin Ho Kelly on "Hawaii Five-0," Kim was best known for his role as Jin Soo Kwon on the hit TV series "Lost," for which he shared a 2006 Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble, and was individually honored with an AZN Asian Excellence Award, a Multicultural Prism Award and a Vanguard Award from the Korean American Coalition, all for Outstanding Performance by an Actor. In 2009, he was recognized with the prestigious KoreAm Achievement Award in the field of Arts and Entertainment, and has twice been named one of "People" Magazine's "Sexiest Men Alive."

Born in Busan, South Korea, and raised in New York and Pennsylvania, Kim discovered acting while a student at Haverford College. After graduation, he moved to New York City, where he began his career on stage, performing in classics such as "Romeo and Juliet," "Ivanov," and "A Doll's House." Despite early success, he deepened his knowledge of the craft by enrolling at New York University's Graduate Acting Program, where he earned his Master's Degree.

After receiving his MFA, Kim's film career began in earnest with roles in "The Jackal," "For Love of the Game," "The Hulk," "Spider-Man 2" and "The Cave," as well as the Academy Award-winning "Crash." Most recently, he created the role of Jack Kang in "The Divergent Series films, "Insurgent" and "Allegiant." Kim is set to star as Ben Daimio in the highly anticipated feature: "Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen".

In addition to his onscreen career, Kim spearheads his production company 3AD, established in 2014 by Daniel Dae Kim to produce premier content for TV, film and digital media - in development partnership with ITV Studios America. Committed to storytelling that features characters and cultures traditionally underrepresented in today's media, 3AD produced projects include this season's acclaimed new series "The Good Doctor" (ABC),where he serves as Executive Producer. A fan favorite on the hit NPR podcast Wait Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, Helen Hong has appeared as a recurring character on Silicon Valley, The Unicorn, Huge in France on Netflix, and Blunt Talk on Starz. She’s performed standup comedy on The Arsenio Hall Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, and the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Helen was featured in the Coen Brothers’ film Inside Llewyn Davis, and has guest-starred on Jane the Virgin, Parks and Recreation, and Pretty Little Liars.

Helen’s sharp wit on current events have gotten her on CNN, The Young Turks and The Stephanie Miller Show. Her opinion videos on NowThis have surpassed 12 million views. She hosts the celebrity trivia podcast Go Fact Yourself on the Maximum Fun Network. Helen has performed for the troops in the Middle East and for international audiences in Asia, Europe and Latin America. She always wants to pet your dog and have a bite of your donut.

Best Known as the “Warriors’ Hype Man” for the Golden States Warriors, Franco has energized and entertained up to 20,000 each night for 15 seasons. He is the TV personality and host for Warriors TV and Warriors Weekly. He also works with CBS as their entertainment and lifestyle correspondent interviewing celebrities. His show, The Hype TV, provides content, red carpet coverage, and exclusive celebrity interviews on CBS.

Franco also manages his own professional interactive DJ/ MC/ Entertainment Production Company, Franco Finn Entertainment, where he conducts various corporate events and weddings. Franco is also a professionally trained auctioneer and has worked with some of the most recognized nonprofit organizations, including American Red Cross, March of Dimes, The Ronald McDonald House, the Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and corporations, including Walt Disney Company, Coca-Cola, and Verizon.
