KOREAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY CONFERENCE & SOLVE-A-THON

Two Saturdays, March 24 and April 14 (see below for times)
Google Community Space, 188 The Embarcadero, San Francisco

Registration is FREE, but space is limited.

PART I: CONFERENCE | Sat., March 24th, 10am to 3:30pm (followed by reception)
Join community experts to learn about the pressing issues facing Korean Americans in the Bay Area. If you want to make an impact and design a solution, join a solve-a-thon team! Form your own team, or we can help put one together for you (3-5 per team). Specific topics for the competition will be revealed at the event!
*Conference participants are encouraged but not required to participate in the solve-a-thon.

PART II: SOLVE-A-THON COMPETITION | Sat., April 14th, 11am to 3:30pm (followed by reception)
On this day, teams will present their ideas to the audience and panel of judges. Winners will be selected and prizes awarded. Even if you are not part of a team, discover what creative ideas emerge, cheer on your friends & colleagues, and find out which solution will help empower our community!

The Winning Team's Solution will directly impact our community as your idea will  be implemented by KACF-SF and partner nonprofit organizations.  FIRST-PLACE PRIZES also include:  invitation to and recognition at the KACF-SF Annual Gala on May 5, 2018. Gift card for each winning team member and team plaque. ALL teams will receive certificates of participation.
