Eun-Joo Chang, Senior Advisor & Consultant

Eun-Joo brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, helping grow organizations and building highly successful programs, largely in international health, training and professional development. She has honed her nonprofit organizational management skills in many areas including strategic planning, fundraising and grants, monitoring & evaluation, board/volunteer relations, and partnership building. Most recently, Eun-Joo served as a senior director leading teams in membership, marketing, and professional development at the Society for Neuroscience, the world’s largest organization of neuroscientists with nearly 40,000 members.

Eun-Joo previously held senior positions at the American International Health Alliance, a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening health system capacity through volunteer-driven partnerships. She started her international career at the United Nations Development Programme and over the years has worked in or traveled to more than 50 countries. Volunteer positions included serving on the Board of the Harvard Club of Washington, DC, where she was actively involved in community service projects, and as treasurer of her son's high school PTSA. Here in San Francisco, she volunteered at the Institute on Aging.

Eun-Joo was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in New York. She received her A.B from Harvard University and Master's from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. After being a diehard east coaster, Eun-Joo recently relocated to the Bay Area to join her extended family of parents and four siblings.
