Dan is a Professional Engineer (P.E.), accredited in LEED Building Design and Construction, with 14 years of architectural, engineering, and Silicon Valley management experience. He is currently Datacenter Design Manager at Facebook, where he led design and construction for their first greenfield datacenter in the U.S. and first datacenter sites in Europe. Prior to Facebook, Daniel worked on mission critical HVAC consulting in San Francisco and Chicago. Daniel is also a partner at Namu Gaji, a popular San Francisco restaurant known for its Asian-inspired dishes reflecting Korean traditions and using fresh, local and organic ingredients. In a unique collaboration, Dan is co-partners with his brothers – Dennis is Namu Gaji’s Executive Chef and David is Operations Manager.
Dan grew up in the Boston area and has a BSE from the University of Michigan. He serves on the board of Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality, and enjoys bicycling, photography, and watching movies.
